Flats and many repairs can be done while you wait. Other service times can vary, but we'll give you an estimate and we're focused on making sure you get in and out as quickly as possible. If you need immediate or rushed service to be ready for that big ride, race or event, please ask! We'll do our best to fit you in!

We offer three level of Bicycle service:

Premium Service £140:
Recommended every 18 months.

The top-Level Service takes every single item off your bike. The parts are then degreased * to get them looking like new. While the bike is stripped we will Face the head tube and bottom bracket area **. This makes sure your bottom bracket is aligned properly and will yield better bearing life from your headset and bottom bracket. While the parts are off the bike the hubs will be stripped down* cleaned and re-greased. New Shimano gear and brake cables will be fitted and your bike reassembled. If the bike has hydraulic disc brakes, they will be bled and new fluid applied.

* Where possible. Cartridge bearing hubs can't be re-greased.

** I.e. carbon frames can't be faced.

Our top level service is pretty much a full over-haul of the bike and includes everything within the mid-level service plus we remove and grease the bearings within the headset and remove and re-grease the bottom bracket bearings so that the bike's steering and pedalling action run smooth and quietly.

Recommended Service £75.00
Recommended every 12 months.

This Service gets your bike working like new! It includes everything the Basic Service includes plus we fit new Shimano inner and outer gear cables, degrease the drive train and perform a Headset service. Remove the bottom bracket check the threads and re-apply the anti-seize and re-install. We will then true your wheels to better than British standards. The bike is then given a test ride.

Includes all the basic service and also includes truing wheels in the wheel truing stand so that they run without obstructing your brakes and maintain efficiency. The Mid-level service also includes new inner and outer gear and brake cables to ensure that your shifting and braking systems work as smoothly and consistently as possible.

Basic Service £40.00
Recommended every 6 month

If you use your bike occasionally the Basic Service is all you should normally require. We will ensure that your handlebar is aligned correctly, gears change smoothly and that your brakes are set up to work safely and effectively. We will tighten all bolts to their correct recommended torque, and use a chain wear tool to assess the condition of the chain as worn chains increase wear on other components. We will also inflate your tyres to correct pressure having checked that they are seated on the rim correctly.

The mechanic will not undertake a full fault finding exercise on the other components of the bike unless asked to do so but will highlight any obvious problems that would fall outside the scope of the Basic Service.

Before proceeding with any additional work that might be required, our mechanic will contact you to confirm the price. Any additional items fitted will be added on to the service price.
